Dock workers call for boycott of ships carrying weapons

Vijayawada: The port and dock workers from Visakhapatnam Port Authority and other ports across India may see a boycott of ships carrying weapons for supply to Israel to continue the war against Palestine in the Gaza Strip.

The Water Transport Workers Federation of India representing more than 3,500 workers at the 11 major ports in the country has said that the Unions affiliated to their federation will refuse to load or unload weaponised cargoes from Israel or any other country which could handle military equipment and its allied cargo for war in Palestine.
